Thomas Mendy, is an information system expert and a Data scientist with experience in the Health/Medical Research sector, International Organizations and the Banking Sector with both local and international experience.
Currently working at the Medical Research Council Unit The Gambia at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine as a Data Manager. Before joining the Medical Research Council Unit The Gambia at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, Thomas worked at Standard Chartered Bank as a C.D.D. Remediation Officer/Analyst.
In his previous roles, he has worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer Freelancer for a Swedish multi-Million Dollar Company, as well as a Database Development Consultant where he Managed I.T. Projects and was involved in implementing Information systems projects for the World Bank, UNDP, European Union and African Development Bank In Bissau.
Educationally, Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Greenwich and a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Systems Management from the University of Liverpool. He is also an Associate Member of the British Computer Society (AMBCS).
